Meet Our Founders

She said, “medicine is broken”, he said “then let’s fix it.”

(She) Dr. Jain was born and raised in Canada, eh! She completed her undergraduate studies in Anatomy and Cell Biology at McGill University in Montreal and then pursued her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St.Kitts. She subsequently returned to the Midwest where she completed her Family Medicine residency at Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, serving as Chief Resident in senior year of training.  She is a board-certified Family Physician and a diplomat of the ABFM. She recently completed her MBA at the Kelley School of Business in IN.

Dr. Jain is fiercely passionate about preventative medicine, women’s health and the role of food and movement in optimizing health outcomes.  She believes that the focus of modern medicine should be leveraging our healthcare resources to ensure we are thriving, rather than just “staying alive”.

Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing (very cautiously), working out and endlessly filling online shopping carts with clothes she will probably never use, because she primarily wears scrubs.

(He) Dr. Chawla was originally born in Canada, but raised in Sault St. Marie, MI. He completed his undergraduate studies in Health Sciences and Biology at University of Western Ontario, Canada and then pursued his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St.Kitts. He subsequently returned to the Midwest where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Michigan. He went on to Serve as Chief Resident at ETSU in TN, and then moved to Georgia where he finished his Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship, at the prestigious Medical College of Georgia. He is triple boarded- in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Pulmonary and Critical Care at Hendricks Regional Health Hospital in Danville, IN.

Dr. Chawla is an innovative and resourceful leader, with a passion for medial advancement and program implementation. He has spearheaded the initiation of endobronchial valve placement at HRH. This minimally invasive procedure significantly improves breathing for patients with severe COPD and emphysema.

Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time with his family, aggressive downhill skiing, cycling, and socializing with any and every one!

Drs. Jain and Chawla currently reside in Zionsville, IN with their two daughters- Anika and Gia.
