FAQ

Do you accept my health insurance?

Not exactly. Traditional medical practices limit patient access by billing your health insurance for each visit or point of contact with your doctor.  We believe this discourages regular communication with your PCP. To provide unhindered access and encourage open dialogue between the patient and physician we engage in a membership-based model where all services rendered by the physician are covered under the annual membership fee. This also allows us to care for your needs without the confines of insurance-based guidelines and reimbursement limitations.

That being said, we can certainly provide you with an invoice of services rendered, you can consult with your accountant to see if our services may be an HSA or FSA approved expense.

Do I need to keep my health insurance?

Yes. You will need to maintain your health insurance for routine vaccinations, lab work, imaging visits, consultant care, hospital services, prescription medications, specialist visits, and ancillary medical providers.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Access is a top priority, with same and next day appointments being the standard in our practice. Your physician is also available via phone, secure messaging and virtual visits should those modes of communication better serve your needs.

How much does membership cost?

Your annual membership fee will be assessed at your initial consultation. It will be based on your personal medical history and complexity.

Do you see children?

Our board-certified Family Physician takes care of patients of all ages, though membership of a minor (18 and under) must be accompanied by an adult membership.

Will you work with my other specialists?

Absolutely! At Corsano we believe interdisciplinary communication is the key to a comprehensive & holistic approach. Think of us as your home base, and the CEO of your healthcare team. Keeping panel sizes small gives us the time we need to coordinate your care across the board. From nutrition to physical therapy, and everyone in between.

How do I become a patient?

It’s simple! Just click on the “schedule a consultation” link on our home page to book a one-on-one interview with your future primary care doctor- a chance to learn more about the practice and ask any specific questions you may have about services provided etc. After your interview, if you think the practice is a good fit and would like your individual pricing information, we will send you a link to schedule a follow-up call with someone from the office.

What if I am a former patient of Dr. Jain? Am I still considered a “new patient?”

Yes, you are still a new patient. You are not considered an established patient of Dr. Jain at Corsano Health and Wellness until you have signed a patient contract and paid associated membership dues.

Where does the name Corsano come from? What does it mean?

Corsano is derived from the latin phrase- “Mens Sana in Corpoe Sano“- A healthy mind in a Healthy Body. The saying was originally coined by the Roman Poet Juvenal. It is the first in a list of what is desirable in life, and we couldn’t agree more!
